Z Capital is seeking a director of private equity. Duties include assisting in due diligence activities specific to potential acquisitions; assisting in sourcing and vetting relevant middle-market private equity investments; assisting in the development and execution of strategic plans; and working with senior management and operating professionals in value creation indicative companies. Candidates should have five to seven years of multiple successful, sourcing, acquisition, value creation and exiting of middle-market companies. The position is in New York City.

PGIM Private Capital is looking to hire a senior associate for its infrastructure team. Duties include generating new deal flow through direct calling on issuers and via intermediaries and project sponsors; and managing the credit review process, including financial modeling, creating and presenting written and oral analyses and coordinating internal approvals. Also, he or she will develop and negotiate the terms and structure of Prudential’s investment and assisting with the documentation process. Candidates should have three years of infrastructure investment banking or investing experience. The position is in Newark, New Jersey.

Petra Capital Partners is seeking an associate. Duties include supporting all aspects of the investment process including analyzing, evaluating and executing subordinated debt and equity investment opportunities; conducting due diligence and analytical work on potential investments, including participating in management presentations of prospect companies; and researching investment target’s competitive position, market size and industry dynamics. Candidates should have three to five years of total experience including a strong academic background. The position is in Nashville.

Sierra Ventures is seeking an investment analyst. The hire is a critical member of the investment team and performs all traditional VC analyst roles from research to deal sourcing to diligence and networking. He or she will help drive the firm’s investment thesis in core and emerging industry sectors while building a base for exploring investments in new areas. Candidates should have two to four years’ experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity or consulting or product/technical experience with a respected technology company. They also should have an undergraduate degree in technology (prefer EE/CS) from a relevant university. The position is in San Mateo, California.
