Blackstone is seeking a principal/managing director for its global credit investment platform, GSO Advantage. The hire will foster and maintain relationships with portfolio company management teams to drive savings and operational improvement projects, monitor and track program components and maintain communication with deal teams, and market the GSO Advantage program to portfolio companies, private equity partners, LPs, prospective portfolio companies and others. Qualifications include ten to fifteen years’ work experience at a highly competitive firm, preferably in financial services, consulting and operating environments. The position is located in New York.

Silicon Valley Bank is looking to hire a private banking associate. Responsibilities include assisting in underwriting credit proposals and analyzing personal financial statements/tax returns, facilitating the loan credit documentation and booking process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and lending parameters, and interacting with all sectors of SVB, with emphasis toward the venture capital-related banking teams. Three to five years’ work experience in related finance or banking fields required. The position is located in Menlo Park, California.

EY is searching for a transaction advisory services manager – M&A private equity value creation. The hire will work on projects that span the lifecycle of a transaction, including due diligence focused on EBITDA upside and operational risk; buy-side carve-out and integration planning; post-acquisition 100-day and value-creation planning; ongoing performance improvement; and exit readiness. Qualifications include five years of related work experience. MBA preferred. The position is located in New York.

Cambridge Associates has an opening for a senior investment director, private investments. The successful candidate will structure and implement diversified portfolios for clients, reviewing the range of asset classes and evaluating potential and current managers. Specific activities also include supervising investment associates, preparing presentation materials, and making presentations to clients. Ten to fifteen years of appropriate knowledge and experience preferred, gained from work in a similar capacity at a family office, large institutional investor, fund-of-funds, or PE firm. The position is located in Boston.

New York Life Investment Management is in the market for a senior strategy associate. Responsibilities include working closely with senior leaders on strategic initiatives, assisting in analyzing and executing on M&A opportunities through transaction completion, conducting market and industry competitive research to assist in developing business strategy, developing financial models and analyses, and coordinating activities among senior management team, investment boutiques, business units and other stakeholders. At least two years of experience, preferably in investment banking or management consulting, are required. Some knowledge of the asset management industry is a plus. The position is located in New York.
