FAIRFAX, VA — Plateau Systems Ltd., today announced
the receipt of $18 million in equity funding which will be used to rapidly expand the
company’s mission of providing leading-edge learning management systems to regulated
industries and corporate entities.

AIG Horizon Partners LLC, EuclidSR Partners and GE Equity provided the equity investment
in equal shares. Investments will be made in sales and marketing, corporate infrastructure
and product development for Plateau.

LONDON – TH Lee, Putnam Capital, L.P. and Groupe Arnault S.A. today announced the formation of TH Lee Groupe Arnault Partners, a joint venture which will target private equity investment opportunities in Europe. TH Lee Groupe Arnault Partners will make investments across diverse sectors, including financial, business and information services, telecommunications/media and consumer products, among others.
Thomas H. Lee, Chairman and CEO of TH Lee, Putnam Capital, and Bernard Arnault, Chairman of Groupe Arnault, will sit on its investment committee. Richard S. Trutanic, Senior Managing Director at Groupe Arnault will be a Senior Managing Partner of the joint venture and will recruit a team of European private equity professionals with extensive experience in each of the relevant national markets. TH Lee Groupe Arnault Partners will have offices in London, Paris and other locations.

ST. PAUL, MN — ObjectFX Corp., a leading provider of location-based visualization
software, today announced the closing of a $9.1 million private placement.
Significant investments were made by Brookwood Financial, Software
Consolidations, Inc., an entity backed by St. Paul Venture Capital, T. Rowe
Price Threshold Partnerships, and other private investors. The funds are
earmarked primarily for expanding sales and marketing operations, as well as
general operations.


HEIDELBERG, GERMANY — Cellzome GmbH, a functional
proteomics company formed in partnership with the European Molecular Biology
Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany, today announced that it has completed a 34
million Euro ($31 MM) self-managed private placement, led by Index Ventures. This private
placement, Cellzome’s second round of venture capital financing, brings the total amount
of private funds raised by the company to more than 42 million Euro ($39 MM) since its
inception in May 2000.

Investors in the current round of financing include Index Ventures (Geneva), Sofinnova
Ventures (Paris) and Schroders Investment Management, Ltd. (London). Existing investors
who also supported the financing round include Atlas Venture, Advent International,
Heidelberg Innovation and the Company’s founders. Neil Rimer, General Partner at Index,
will join the Supervisory Board of Directors of Cellzome.

RALEIGH, NC — TogetherSoft Corp., a leading provider of software development technologies and
services, today announced it has secured a $20 million round of financing from TA
Associates, a private equity investment firm based in Boston.

The financing will help fuel TogetherSoft’s strategic growth, sales and marketing, R&D and
major product development initiatives. U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray Inc. served as placement agent. John Goodrich of Wilson
Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati served as legal counsel to TogetherSoft Corp.

venture capital firm, today announced the signing of a letter of intent to extend eConnect,
Inc., a $7,000,000.00 line of credit through December 31,
