ROCKLEDGE, FL — e-Security, Inc., today announced it received $13 million in equity
financing, led by Boston-based Fidelity Ventures and Reston, Va.-based Updata
Venture Partners.

Proceeds of the funding will be used for working capital purposes to support
e-Security’s position as the market share leader in the real time security
monitoring space, and accelerate e-Security’s revenue development and related
infrastructure growth.

PITTSBURGH — VentureBank@PNC today announced that it will provide working capital financing for Fairfax, Va.-based Webversa, a pioneer in voice and wireless access to enterprise information. Webversa offers mobile users dynamic, two-way access to enterprise applications and data from any telephone, using voice commands.

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — Challenge Fund II, one of Israel’s most conservative venture capital funds,
announced today that it would invest $3 million in Celvibe, as part of a $12
million second round that it is leading on behalf of the start-up. The Challenge Fund joins other Celvibe investors – including Poalim Venture
Capital, Eurofund 2000 that is made up of Bezeq (Israel’s leading telco), ECI
Telecom, Deutsche Telecom, and Ofir Technologies – in support of Celvibe’s
unique solutions for enabling wireless carriers to stream live television
broadcasts to mobile users in realtime.

WASHINGTON — Telecommunications Development
Fund, a Washington, DC-based venture capital firm that finances early stage
telecommunications technology companies, today announced its role as a lead
investor in the closing of a $6.5-million Series A round of financing for
Netilla(SM) Networks, Inc. (http://www.netilla.com ). Netilla Networks is the
service company that supplies secure Web access to office applications.
Bethlehem, Pa.-based Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds (MAVF) co-led the round.

FREMONT, CA –Talkway Communications, a leading video service provider (VSP), announced it has closed series A round financing for $10 million. Investor firms include Netherlands-based ABN AMRO Ventures, as well as two local venture capital firms: Asset Management Associates and Asset Management Partners of Palo Alto, Calif. The funds will be used for technology enhancements, OEM development efforts and for accelerated product distribution through multiple channels. Talkway’s MarketingTalk and PersonalTalk audio/video services, which enable businesses and individuals to create, send and receive personalized rich media content over the Internet, were made generally available in June 2000. Talkway provides its services for both broadband and narrowband delivery.

LOS ANGELES — Sameday.com, developer of rapid-response product distribution software, has
raised $20 million in its third round of equity financing.

Investors include TH Lee.Putnam Internet Partners (THLi), IGNITE Group,
Accel Partners and idealab!.

NEW YORK — Flooz.com Inc. (http://www.flooz.com), an e-commerce enabler and creator of the world’s first online gift currency, today announced the completion of an $8 million round of financing. Oak Investment Partners led the round. Brentwood Venture Capital, Maveron, Venture Strategy Partners, and Silicon Alley Venture Partners also participated.

NEW YORK — Thoughtbubble Productions Inc., a digital production company, recently secured $4 million in Series A funding from Formula Systems.
