Patron Technology has acquired Greencopper, a Montréal-based provider of mobile and web technologies for live events. No financial terms were disclosed. Founded in 2009 by CEO Gwenaël Le Bodic, Greencopper provides digital solutions for more than 300 events in over 25 countries every year. Patron, a New York-based ticketing and event experience software company, said the deal will help its clients “create deeper and more profitable relationships with their ticket buyers, fans and supporters.” Patron last year raised a majority investment from the growth equity affiliate of U.S. private equity firm Providence Equity Partners.

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Patron Technology, an industry-leading ticketing and event experience software company, today announced it has acquired Greencopper, a global provider of mobile and web technologies for live events. Greencopper will continue to service its clients with innovative technology and outstanding customer service as the company becomes integrated as a part of the growing Patron Technology platform. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Greencopper helps live event goers engage more deeply with the events they attend through mobile apps and web tools. Greencopper’s innovations also offer interactive maps, messaging and music discovery tools that foster deeper connections with fans throughout the live event to enhance their experience.

The company is based in Montreal with a local presence in France, the United States, Denmark and the Netherlands and now provides digital solutions for more than 300 events in over 25 countries annually.
