Providence Equity Partners LLC has named Greg Brown as an operating partner.

Brown is the former president and CEO of Learfield IMG College. Brown joined Learfield in 1984, where he was initially responsible for selling sponsorships for the Iowa State Cyclone Radio Network. In 2009, Brown was named president and CEO; in April 2020, Brown retired from Learfield.

Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, the private equity currently has more than $49 billion in capital under management.
