Online education company PluralSight goes public

PluralSight Inc, an online education company, has raised $310.5 million for its IPO after pricing its 20.7 million shares at $15 per share. The stock began trading May 17, 2018 on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “PS.” Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the lead underwriters. PluralSight is backed by Insight Venture Partners.

Arevo raises $12.5 mln, announces new CEO

Santa Clara, California-based Arevo, which provides 3D printing technology and services, announced it has raised $12.5 million in Series B funding. Asahi Glass led the round with Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, Leslie Ventures and Khosla Ventures. The company, founded in 2013, has now raised $19.5 million to date. The funding comes as Jim Miller, a former executive with Google and Amazon, is named company CEO.

Tola Capital led the round with participation from Accomplice, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Two Sigma and NextView. In conjunction with the funding, Aaron Fleishman, a principal at Tola Capital, will join InsightSquared’s board of directors.
