Quadrangle Promotes Pair

Quadrangle Group has promoted Sachin Khajuria to principal and Daniel Fine to vice president. Khajuria works in London, and joined the firm in March 2007. Fine joined in 2005 and works in New York.

Quadrangle Group LLC announced today that, effective January 1, 2008, Sachin Khajuria has been promoted to Principal and Daniel Fine has been promoted to Vice President.

“We are delighted to recognize the dedication and hard work of these talented people,” the firm said in a statement. “Each has played an important role in the growth and success of Quadrangle, and they will continue to contribute valuably in their new roles.”

Mr. Khajuria, who is based in the London office, joined Quadrangle in March 2007 as a Vice President focused on the firm's media and communications private equity business. Before joining Quadrangle, Mr. Khajuria worked on leveraged buyouts and infrastructure investments at Macquarie for five years. Prior to that, Mr. Khajuria worked in mergers & acquisitions at Merrill Lynch and corporate finance at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Khajuria received B.A. and M.A. honors degrees in economics from Cambridge University, where he also won the Adam Smith prize, and is a member of Trinity College.

Mr. Fine began working at Quadrangle as a Senior Associate focused on Quadrangle's media and communications private equity business in 2005. Prior to joining Quadrangle, Mr. Fine was an Associate with CIBC World Markets in the leveraged finance group. Mr. Fine received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a B.A. in economics.
