Quantum Capital Group has agreed to sell Cogentrix Energy, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based power producer, to Vistra Corp. for approximately $4.7 billion.
Quantum will retain its ownership stake in Cedar Bayou 4, a 550 MW natural gas-fired plant in Baytown, Texas.
