Raining Revolution: Steve Case’s VC Firm Reels in New Pros–UPDATED

Revolution LLC, the Washington, DC-based early stage venture capital investor, has brought in a pair of staffers to ramp up its dealmaking capacity, peHUB has confirmed. Over the last 12 months, Revolution LLC has increasingly been filling out its ranks.

The first new addition is Bobby Ocampo, who, according to his LinkedIn profile, spent three years as an associate at Grotech Ventures, another Beltway venture capital firm. With Grotech, Ocampo was a board observer at HelloWallet, GramercyOne and WiserTogether, among others.

Ocampo is still based in Washington, according to his profile, and joined Revolution in September.

The second addition for Revolution LLC is Clara Sieg, who will be based on the West Coast. Sieg is coming on board as a venture associate, after having spent nearly three years managing alternative fund investments and working on secondary activities with Probitas Partners.

Sieg joined Revolution LLC in October. Another recent addition to the team is Michael Chou, who joined the venture unit from Perella Weinberg Partners, where he was a banking analyst.

peHUB reached out to Revolution for this story, and will update if they comment. We heard from a representative with Revolution, who pointed out the following: Sieg and Ocampo are with Revolution Ventures, the VC’s early-stage shop. As for Chou, he, and Scott Hilleboe, Michael Kenworthy and Evan Morgan joined Revolution Growth–although not as recently, each of them already has a profile at the VC’s site.
