Yahoo reportedly is nearing a deal to acquire online video hosting and distribution company Maven Networks, for between $160 million and $170 million. Maven has raised around $24 million in VC funding since 2004, including a 2006 Series C round at a post-money valuation of approximately $44.2 million. Backers include Accel Partners, General Catalyst Partners and Prism VentureWorks.
