Resilience Staffs Up

Resilience Capital Partners of Cleveland has made four hires: Michael Lundin, former president and CEO of Oglebay Norton Co., as an operating partner; Michael Merriman, former CEO of Lamson & Sessions, as an operating partner; David Blank, formerly of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, as an investment associate; and Ziv Sarag, former CFO of TOA Technologies, as chief operating officer.



Resilience Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm, announced that is has expanded its Cleveland, Ohio-based team of investment professionals.  These additions reflect the firm's commitment to ensuring it has the best resources to support its growth.


The firm added Michael Lundin as Operating Partner, Michael Merriman as Operating Advisor, and David Blank as Investment Associate.


Mr. Lundin was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of Oglebay Norton Company.  Mr. Lundin led the reorganization of the company including a new capital structure consisting of new bank debt, a conversion of debt to equity, and a rights offering for both common and preferred stock.  Prior to Oglebay, he was President and Partner of Michigan Limestone Operations LP, a limestone mining and distribution company for more than ten years.  Mr. Lundin negotiated the sale of the partnership to Oglebay Norton in 2000.
