Ridgemont Equity Partners hired Anthony Cassano as a partner in its tech and telecom practice. The firm also promoted Charles Anderson, Tim Dillon and Cay Freihofer to partner, Seth Peck to principal, Tyler Houin to vice president and Dan Norton to senior associate. Karen Garrison was promoted to fund controller. Cassano joined Ridgemont from Spire Capital Partners.
Ridgemont Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm, today announced the hiring of Anthony Cassano as a Partner in the firm’s Tech & Telecom practice. In addition, Ridgemont announced the following promotions – Charles Anderson, Tim Dillon and Cay Freihofer were promoted to Partner, Seth Peck was promoted to Principal, Tyler Houin was promoted to Vice President, and Dan Norton was promoted to Senior Associate. Karen Garrison was promoted to Fund Controller on Ridgemont’s Finance and Operations Team.
Anthony will focus on investments in the Tech & Telecom space. He spent the last 10 years at Spire Capital Partners. Prior to that, Anthony was at Citigroup and Ernst & Young. Anthony has a BS from James Madison University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
In 2018, Ridgemont closed its newest flagship fund, REP III, at $1.65 billion in commitments, up from $995 million in REP II. With AUM now in excess of $3.5 billion, Ridgemont has commensurately increased the size of its team by 25% over the last 18 months and expanded into new office space in Charlotte.
