Tim Gosline, Riverside Partner

Riverside welcomes The Herbal Garden as its fourth investment in the value added fresh produce market. Herbal Garden and HerbThyme Farms are well positioned to continue to provide industry-leading service and quality as a result of their complementary geographic coverage, customer base and expanded sourcing capability. Riverside and management believe that this combination will result in increased market coverage and stronger growth, as well as an ability to better serve our customers.”

Raju Boligala, HerbThyme Farms Chief Executive Officer

Herbal Garden is a great strategic fit with HerbThyme as the company’s leading Midwest presence will allow geographic expansion into this area. Many customers seek local delivery; with Herbal Garden – a Midwest-based supplier – the HerbThyme brand will be more easily accessible in the Midwest.”

Vern Meyer, The Herbal Garden Founder and Chief Executive Officer

“I look forward to working with Riverside and HerbThyme’s team. We are confident this strategic alliance will continue the care and customer focus of Herbal Garden that has been a core value of the business since I started the company in my suburban Chicago backyard. Together, we now have 500 domestic acres of organic herb production and wonderful opportunities to expand into new geographies and markets.”
