Robert Sasson has joined Russia-based UFG Asset Management as senior managing partner of private equity. He previously worked for a U.S. hedge fund focused on Russia and Ukraine.
UFG Asset Management announces the appointment of Mr. Robert Sasson as Senior Managing Partner of UFG Private Equity.
Robert Sasson will co-head UFG’s Private Equity business together with Charles Ryan, Chairman of UFG Asset Management. Prior to joining UFG Asset Management, Mr. Sasson worked with a leading U.S. hedge fund on private equity transactions in Russia and Ukraine. Before that, Mr. Sasson had a distinguished career serving for many years as the Head of the St. Petersburg office of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Mr. Sasson holds a degree in Russian Studies and International Government from the University of Exeter. Mr. Sasson speaks fluent Russian.
