True Ventures announced on its website that Rohit Sharma has joined the firm as a venture partner. Sharma will work with founders of early-stage portfolio companies, helping them build teams and products, as well as helping later stage companies with growth efforts Sharma also discussed the move on his blog.

True is thrilled to welcome Rohit Sharma as our newest venture partner. Rohit will be working closely with our current Founders over the next year to help those in the earliest stages build teams and products, and those in later stages with growth and scaling strategies.
We have known and worked with Rohit for several years and have continuously been impressed with his leadership, his expertise in infrastructure and his desire to mentor others. We are truly honored to have him join our team.
