RRE Ventures has close its latest fund, RRE Ventures V, L.P., with $230 million. RRE Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City. The firm invests across consumer and media sectors, mobile technology, enterprise technology, as well as financial and green technology. The firm’s investments include storage company Drobo and the news site Business Insider.

RRE Ventures, LLC, (RRE) today announced that it successfully closed the RRE Ventures V, L.P. (RRE V) fund with capital commitments of $230 million.
RRE is a leading New York City-based venture capital firm focused on companies that leverage technologies to disrupt and transform many of the world’s major industries.
Led by Co-Managing Partners James D. Robinson IV and Stuart J. Ellman, RRE has organized and managed five funds since its founding in 1994, with total capital commitments exceeding $1 billion.
