Rural American Fund backs Aquatrols

Rural American Fund has made an undisclosed investment in Aquatrols Corporation of America. Headquartered in Paulsboro, New Jersey, Aquatrols is a provider of surfactant and other technologies used to optimize soil-water-plant interactions.

(Chicago, Illinois, May 4, 2015) – Rural American Fund, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on the agribusiness sector, has made its first platform investment in its second fund, “RAF II, LP”.

Aquatrols Corporation of America (“Aquatrols”), founded in 1955, is a top provider of surfactant and other technologies used to optimize soil-water-plant interactions. For 60 years, the company has been a leader in developing and supplying products to help growers manage their water resources more effectively.

Aquatrols offers a complete line of soil surfactants and other specialty products for use in the agricultural, turf grass and horticultural industries.
