Serrao & Darr Join IPC

Michele Serrao and Evan Darr have joined the private equity fund-of-funds team at Invesco, as a partner and senior associate, respectively. Both were previously with Atlantic Trust, Invesco's private wealth management business.

Invesco announces it has expanded its private equity fund of funds team with the addition of two investment professionals, Michele Serrao and Evan Darr. Both Serrao and Darr will focus on sourcing and analyzing partnership opportunities.

“Michele and Evan bring terrific private equity experience to our team and add new relationships that will benefit our alternative asset portfolios,” said Phil Shaw, who co-runs the Invesco Private Capital fund of funds investment team with Mary Kelley. “We look forward to working with them, and leveraging their investment talent.”

The addition of Serrao and Darr brings the number of investment professionals on the fund of funds team to nine and reinforces Invesco's commitment to grow its private capital business.

Serrao and Darr both join from Atlantic Trust, the private wealth management business of Invesco Ltd., parent to Invesco Private Capital. In this capacity, Serrao and Darr have previously worked with the IPC team.

Serrao, who joins as a Partner, has spent the past 10 years in the alternatives arena, directing Atlantic Trust's $4.5 billion Multi-Manager Program for private wealth clients. There, she evaluated private equity fund opportunities as well as private real estate and hedge funds. She earned a B.A. from Potsdam College with majors in Mathematics and Computer Science, graduating with honors in both disciplines and earned an MBA in Finance with high honors from Boston University.
