Ingenious Med Announces
Nimesh Shah as New CEO
Experienced, client-focused executive to drive innovation and growth at leading SaaS-based healthcare IT company.

Atlanta, Georgia, July 10, 2018 — Ingenious Med, the
leading charge capture and practice performance
analytics provider for health systems, hospitals, and
physician groups, announced today that it has named
Nimesh Shah as Chief Executive Officer.

Shah brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and managed
services leadership, with a focus on leading business transformation, the
creation and delivery of emerging solutions, and driving revenue growth.
“Ingenious Med has been the market leader since its inception in 1999,” said
Shah. “We now serve well over 50,000 users, including 9 of the 10 largest
U.S. hospital systems. Our nearly 20 years of proven success has been driven
by helping our customers optimize their professional fee revenue. We will
continue this success by working with our customers to understand the
challenges they face and by designing innovative, easy-to-use solutions
to meet their needs today and tomorrow.”

The announcement comes after a rigorous CEO search conducted by
Ingenious Med’s executive leadership team. “Ingenious Med has experienced
rapid growth in support of the complex healthcare market and we needed a
leader with experience managing that trajectory,” said Dr. Steven Liu, founder,
Chief Medical Officer, and board member of Ingenious Med. “Nimesh has the
right leadership qualities and a track record of successful customer-driven
innovation and organizational transformation that will lead Ingenious Med
in our next phase of growth. We’re thrilled to have him join the team.”
Shah most recently served as President of Enterprise Information Solutions
(EIS) at McKesson Corporation, leading it to a successful sale to Allscripts for
$185 million. In that role, he oversaw all of McKesson’s core provider solutions,
including electronic medical record (EMR), revenue cycle management, and
professional services, among others.

Before McKesson, Shah held leadership positions at Computer Sciences
Corporation, AT&T, and Sprint, among others. In those roles, Shah led sales
and product transformation efforts, accelerated customer adoption of new
services, and improved business processes in support of customer retention
and satisfaction.

“Nimesh has a strong history of understanding customer challenges and
driving business change to offer the right solution in the right place at the
right time,” said Ingenious Med board member and former Geisinger CEO,
Glenn Steele. “And, Ingenious Med is the right solution now given the
increasing financial pressures facing health systems today.”

“I’m honored to be part of an organization so focused on simultaneously
improving care for patients and processes for healthcare organizations,” said
Shah. “As the healthcare industry continues the shift to value, Ingenious Med
will be there for our clients as a trusted data, revenue, and workflow partner.”
