Silver Lake has acquired a minority stake in the Australian Professional League, which operates the top-flight men's and women's soccer leagues in the country.

Silver Lake has acquired a minority stake in the Australian Professional League, which operates the top-flight men’s and women’s soccer leagues in the country, Reuters reported.
The US private equity firm will buy a 33.3 percent equity share that will value APL in the region of A$425 million ($303 million). Managing director Stephen Evans will take a seat on the board.
