Silver Lake wants chunk of New York Knicks, New York Rangers: New York Post

Silver Lake is looking to buy major stakes in the New York Knicks and New York Rangers before the teams are spun off into a publicly traded company, the New York Post is reporting. Silver Lake already owns 10 percent of the Madison Square Garden, which owns the teams, and it wants more, the story said. But Silver Lake doesn’t want MSG’s other assets which include Radio City Music Hall and the Tao nightclub empire, the New York Post said.
