SIPA recognizes Buyouts, VCJ for editorial excellence

I want to take a moment to recognize three colleagues who won awards from the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA) this week.

Mark “The Professor” Boslet took first place in the category Best Financial/Investing Interpretative or Analytical Reporting for his story in PE HUB sister publication Venture Capital Journal, “Hedge Funds Storm Into Venture.”

Slammin’ Sammy Sutton took second place in the category The David Swit Award for Best Investigative Reporting for his extensive coverage in PE HUB sister publication Buyouts of private equity and venture capital money flowing into Bruce Rauner’s campaign for governer of Illinois.

Finally, Boslet and VCJ Editor Alastair “Social Media” Goldfisher took third place in the category Best Financial/Investing Interpretative or Analytical Reporting for their VCJ story “Crowding Into Seed.”

Just a reminder this is the kind of award-winning work we do across our publications. You can be sure our team will be working hard to repeat this success.
