PRESS RELEASE
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing client-focused advice in a values-driven culture, today announced that industry veteran Dave Woolford, formerly of J.P. Morgan Securities, has joined the firm as Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor. Mr. Woolford will join the firm’s Harbor Wealth Management Group in Baltimore, MD.
Mr. Woolford will join Partners and Managing Directors Phil Lazzari, Mark Stevens, and Eric Watson to comprise a team that will manage client assets in excess of $350 million. Firm-wide, Snowden Lane oversees more than $2.5 billion in client assets.
“Dave has the quality of industry experience that only three decades of client-service at top firms can bring someone in our business. He will be a tremendous asset to our team,” said Mr. Lazzari. “Our firm and our group have a bright future and we’re proud to have him be a part of it.”
Prior to joining Snowden Lane, Mr. Woolford held senior-level financial advisor positions at J.P. Morgan Securities, UBS and Credit Suisse. He also worked for a time at Alex. Brown & Sons in Baltimore. Mr. Woolford specializes in assisting high net worth individuals and corporate executives to achieve their financial objectives through execution of sophisticated transactions (including Rule 144), risk management strategies and construction of portfolios with an emphasis on wealth preservation. He has extensive experience working with corporate executives on their most complex financial needs, including private equity and tactical investing.
“The notion of taking every action with the words ‘client first’ at the fore is intrinsic to everything that we do in this business,” said Mr. Woolford. “When I first got to know Snowden Lane’s philosophy, I was thrilled to be a part of a team that does everything it can to create a meaningful, results-driven client experience.”
Snowden Lane’s President, Greg Franks, commented: “Adding a high quality individual like Dave to our Baltimore office is consistent with our firm’s strategy to build out our existing offices and teams with experienced, client-focused advisors.”
Snowden Lane is rapidly building a national brand. Its footprint now includes seven offices nationally, including both coasts, with offices in Pasadena and San Diego (serving international clients), as well as its New York City headquarters; New Haven, CT; Pittsburgh, PA; and Baltimore and Bethesda, MD. In June, the Financial Times named Snowden Lane to its elite FT 300 list for the second straight year, recognizing it as one of the top independent RIA firms in the U.S.
