Solar Capital expands team with four new hires

New York City-based Solar Capital Partners, which invests in U.S. middle-market companies, has added four senior professionals to its team.

New York City-based Solar Capital Partners, which invests in U.S. middle-market companies, has added four senior professionals to its team.

Gary Lembo joined the investment team as a partner, senior underwriter, and originator. Previously, he was a director at BlackRock/TCP.

Eric Meyers joined as a partner and business development professional. Recently, he was a managing director in structured finance syndicate for Goldman Sachs.

Robert Burns joined as a principal focused on origination across SCP’s multi-credit strategy platform. Most recently, Burns served as a vice president at Audax Private Debt.

And, Nandan Munshi joined as a principal and senior investment professional focused on originations as a member of SCP’s life science lending team. Previously, he worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an executive director in commercial banking.

Currently, SCP manages approximately $6.5 billion of investable capital, according to the firm.
