Stenham Asset Management has appointed Damian Brannan to the position of managing director. Brannan has over 22 years’ investment experience and will be a member of Stenham’s investment advisory committee. His new role of managing director will allow Kevin Arenson, chief investment officer, to focus exclusively on investment management and risk control.

Stenham Asset Management, the multi-award winning asset management firm, has today announced that it has hired Mr Damian Brannan to the position of Managing Director.
Damian Brannan has over 22 years’ investment experience and will be a member of Stenham’s Investment Advisory Committee. His new role of Managing Director will allow Kevin Arenson, Chief Investment Officer, to focus exclusively on investment management and risk control.
Damian was most recently Head of Hedge Fund Advisory, UK and Asia, at Union Bancaire Privee (UBP), a position he held since 2009. He has extensive investment and managerial experience in the asset management industry, across a broad spectrum of roles, including head of research and portfolio manager positions. In his role as Managing Director, he will work closely with Kevin Arenson and Dominique Montier, Senior Executive, with the aim of delivering strong, consistently positive investment returns and a high quality client service experience to Stenham’s clients.

Damian Brannan
22 years investment experience
Damian is Managing Director of Stenham Asset Management and a member of the Investment Advisory Committee. Prior to joining Stenham, he was Head of Hedge Fund Advisory, UK and Asia, at Union Bancaire Privee (UBP), where he led a team of investment professionals in London and co-managed a team in Geneva, with responsibility for UK and Asia clients and prospects. His role incorporated responsibility for asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection for clients’ hedge fund portfolios, overseeing client assets of US$ 2bn+. Previously he has held positions at Caledon Partners, Baltic Asset Management, National Australia Group (UK), and Arthur Andersen. Damian obtained his B. Acc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (CA).
