Sterling Partners has agreed to sell Overland Park, Kansas-based Liberty Propane to Inergy Propane LLC, a subsidiary of Inergy LP (Nasdaq: NRGY). According to a regulatory filing, the deal was valued at $223 million, including the assumption of $28 million in tax liabilities. www.libertypropane.net
