Stonehenge Growth Equity Exits VectorLearning

Stonehenge Growth Equity has exited its investment in Tampa, Fla.-based online education and training company VectorLearning, the firm announced Wednesday. The profitable exit was part of a recapitalization of VectorLearning completed by LLR Partners. Terms of the exit were not released, though LLR Partners said in August that it was putting $24 million into VectorLearning.

Stonehenge Growth Equity is pleased to announce that it has profitably exited its investment in VectorLearning. Stonehenge sold its interest in VectorLearning as part of a recapitalization of the company completed by LLR Partners. This is the seventh profitable exit to occur from Stonehenge’s growth equity portfolio.

Stonehenge made its initial investment in VectorLearning in 2005 and made an additional investment in 2008. “It has been a pleasure working with Tom Wallace and his team at VectorLearning over the past six years, ” said Steve Lux, Managing Director of Stonehenge Growth Equity and former board member of VectorLearning. “They have built a tremendous online education business that combines content, distribution and deep sales and marketing capabilities.” Tom Wallace, VectorLearning’s Chief Executive Officer commented, “Stonehenge has been a great partner for us.
