Stuart Armstrong has joined Aquiline Capital Partners as a senior advisor. He previously was president and CEO of Black Diamond Commercial Finance.

In 2005, Mr. Armstrong joined Black Diamond Capital Management to start Black Diamond Commercial Finance (“BDCF”), the firm's leveraged lending affiliate.
Prior to BDCF, Mr. Armstrong spent 12 years at GE Commercial Finance, where he was most recently Senior Managing Director and was Head of Corporate Lending's vertical industry financing groups. The largest business units that Mr. Armstrong led included the National Restructuring, Retail and Metals groups.
