Sun Capital hires Elizabeth de Saint-Aignan to lead technology vertical

The investor's previous experience includes TA Associates, Nautic Partners and Jump Capital, the latter at which she was a founding partner of the growth equity group.

Sun Capital Partners has hired Elizabeth de Saint-Aignan to lead the firm’s focus on investments in the technology vertical. The newly-appointed managing director joins Sun Capital from Jump Capital, where she was a founding partner of the growth equity group, having previously spent seven years at TA Associates.


BOCA RATON, FLNovember 23, 2020 – Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (“Sun Capital”), a leading private investment firm focused on investing in market-leading companies, today announced that Elizabeth de Saint-Aignan has joined the firm as a Managing Director on the Transactions team. She will be based in Sun Capital’s New York office and will lead the firm’s focus on investments in the technology vertical.

Prior to joining Sun Capital, de Saint-Aignan was a founding partner of the growth equity group at Jump Capital. She previously spent seven years at TA Associates in the technology investing practice, leading investments in infrastructure and vertical market software companies. She also served as a senior investment professional with Nautic Partners and as a consultant with Bain & Company. de Saint-Aignan began her private equity career as an Associate at Summit Partners.

de Saint-Aignan holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Economics and International relations, as well as an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
