Suniva, an Atlanta-based solar cell manufacturer, has raised $50 million in second-round funding. Advanced Equities and return backer New Enterprise Associates co-led the round, and were joined by Goldman Sachs (via Cogentrix Energy), H.I.G. Ventures and Quercus Investments.
