SV Solar Raises Series A

Silicon Valley Solar, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based manufacturer of flat plate internal concentrator solar modules, has raised $10.2 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Some of the proceeds were used to acquire NuEdison, an angel-funded manufacturer of photovoltaic modules for use in solar electric systems. www.sv-solar.com
