Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s A-Grade Investments back Rover

Rover.com has received undisclosed funding from Ashton Kutcher, Guy Oseary and Ron Burkle’s venture fund A-Grade Investments. Headquartered in Seattle, Rover.com is an online community that connects dog owners with dog sitters. It is also backed by Menlo Ventures, Madrona Venture Group, Foundry Group and Petco.


Bitcoin security platform BitGo snags $12 mln Series A

Silicon Valley-based bitcoin security platform BitGo said Monday that it has secured $12 million in Series A financing. Redpoint Ventures led the round with participation from investors that included Bridgescale Partners, Radar Partners, Founders Fund, Bitcoin Opportunity Corp., Liberty City Ventures, Crypto Currency Partners and Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s venture fund A-Grade Investments. In addition to the funding, Jeff Brody, founding partner of Redpoint, and Stratton Sclavos of Radar Partners, have been added to BitGo’s board of directors.


Washio closes Series A led by Canaan Partners

Washio, an app for on-demand dry cleaning and laundry has closed a $10.5 million Series A investment led by Canaan Partners. Existing investors Pejman Mar Ventures, Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, Sherpa Ventures, A Grade Investments, Troy Carter and others also participated.

BitPay Expands Seed Round with VC Investors

Bitcoin payment processor BitPay has expanded its seed round of funding by adding more angel investors, including Ben Davenport, Trace Mayer, and A-GRade Investments. BitPay recently announced its seed round of funding from a small group of angel investors including Shakil Khan, Barry Silbert, Jimmy Furland and Roger Ver. In February, BitPay moved its offices to the Atlanta Tech Village in the heart of Buckhead’s Financial District.

Fab.com Buys FashionStake

Design-focused flash sales site Fab.com has acquired NYC-based FasionStake. Terms of the deal were not released, though the company said that FashionStake founders Vivian Weng and Daniel Gulati will join Fab.com. FashionStake is an online marketplace for independent designers. Fab.com is backed by more than $50 million from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Menlo Ventures, First Round Capital, Baroda Ventures, SoftTech VC, and A-Grade Investments, an angel fund co-founded by actor Ashton Kutcher and friends Guy Oseary and Ron Burkle.


Ashton Kutcher Backs Ticket Co. SeekGeek

SeatGeek Inc., a New York-based secondary ticket market for sports and concert tickets, has raised an undisclosed amount from actor-turned-investor Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary‘s A Grade Investments.
