ABRY Partners to sell Xand to TierPoint

TierPoint has agreed to buy Xand from ABRY Partners. Financial terms weren’t announced. Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan is also investing. Xand provides colocation, cloud, disaster recovery, and managed services with six data centers in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. RBC Capital Markets and Credit Suisse are providing debt financing. DH Capital provided financial advice to ABRY/Xand.


ABRY-backed Confie Seguros buy three insurance brokers

Confie Seguros, a portfolio company of ABRY Partners, has bought three insurance brokerage firms. They are Lockport, NY-based AA Insurance Services, which specializes in auto and homeowners insurance; Monroe, NY-based Parietti & McGuire Insurance, which provides auto, home and small commercial insurance; and Bellingham, Wash.-based Insurance Now, which specializes in auto insurance. No financial terms were disclosed for any of these transactions.


Onex completes York acquisition

Onex has closed its buy of York Risk Services Group for $1.325 billion. The seller was ABRY Partners. Based in Parsippany, NJ, York is a provider of risk management, claims management and managed care solutions.


ABRY-backed Confie Seguros buys three insurance brokerages

Confie Seguros, a portfolio company of ABRY Partners, has acquired three insurance brokerage firms. They are Lockport, New York-based Bower Insurance, Round Rock, Texas-based Guess Insurance Services and Charleston, SC-based Alliance Insurance Agency. No financial terms were disclosed.

Confie Seguros acquires two insurance brokerages

Confie Seguros, a provider of personal lines insurance, has acquired two additional insurance brokerages: DeFranco Insurance Agency of Niagara Falls, NY and Insurance Group of American d/b/a City Insurance of Palm Springs, FL. The addition of these two agencies is part of Confie’s continued strategy to build out its geographic footprint throughout New York State and Florida. Confie has completed 23 acquisitions in the last 12 months.

Confie Seguros Adds Four Insurance Brokers

Confie Seguros, which is backed by ABRY Partners, has acquired four regional insurance brokerages in Florida and Nevada. The buys include Maurisset Insurance, CNS Insurance Services, and Briar Bay Insurance, as well as Got Insurance of Las Vegas, N.V. Financial terms were not announced.
