CoPatient rakes in $3.6 mln Series A

CoPatient has closed $3.6 million in Series A funding. The lead investor was .406 Ventures. Also, athenahealth CEO Jonathan Bush and Cambia Health Solutions participated in the round. Based in Boston, CoPatient is a provider of solutions for healthcare consumers to understand and reduce their out-of-pocket expenses.


Digital health company Wellframe scores $1.5 mln seed funds

Wellframe has closed $1.5 million in seed funding. The investors included athenahealth CEO Jonathan Bush; Tim Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson; Carl Byers, venture partner at Fidelity Biosciences; and James Nahirny, founder and manager partner at Leerink Capital Partners. Based in Boston, Wellframe is a digital health firm.

Ed Park Joins Board of Healthcare Tech Company Kyruus

Boston-based healthcare tech company Kyruus has a new board member: Ed Park, the COO of Athenahealth. Park was an early investor in Kyrruus, which has raised roughly $20 million from investors including Highland Capital Partners and Venrock since 2011.
