Seattle-based APImetrics, a provider of API performance monitoring solutions, has raised $500,000 in seed funding. Bain Capital Ventures led the round.

Bain Capital Ventures promotes enterprise SaaS-focused Guha to partner

Bain Capital Ventures announced on Thursday the promotion of Indy Guha to partner in the firm’s Palo Alto, Calif.-based office. Guha joined the venture firm as an associate in 2007 and was a founding member of its San Francisco Bay Area office, which now includes nine investment professionals. Guha focuses his investment activity on enterprise SaaS companies, with an emphasis on marketing and sales technology. He has helped manage the firm’s investments in Bloomreach, Optimizely, Captora, InfoScout, Gainsight, Clari and Wrike.


LogicSource adds Bain Capital Ventures’ Krupka to board

LogicSource, a portfolio company of Bain Capital Ventures, has appointed Michael Krupka to its board of directors. Krupka is a founding partner and managing director of Bain Capital Ventures. Based in Norwalk, Connecticut, LogicSource is a sourcing solutions firm.


StarVest leads $21 mln Series B funding in Persado

StarVest Partners has led a $21 million Series B funding round in Persado, which automates persuasive language used in digital marketing and other applications. Other participants in the funding round include Citi Ventures, American Express Ventures and existing investor Bain Capital Ventures.


PeerTransfer nets $22 mln

PeerTransfer, a Boston-based provider of payment solutions for the education sector, has received $22 million in funding. Bain Capital Ventures led the round with participation from previous backers that included Spark Capital, Devonshire Investors, Accel Partners and QED Investors.


Reonomy raises $13 mln, led by Bain Capital Ventures

New York-based Reonomy announced it has raised $13 million in a Series B round. Bain Capital Ventures led the funding, which includes existing investors SoftBank Capital, Resolute Ventures, High Peaks Venture Partners, KEC Ventures, FinTech Collective and Solon Mack Capital, the family office of William Mack, Richard Mack and Stephen Mack. Reonomy, which provides a data platform covering commercial real estate, has now raised about $18 million in total funding, including a $3.7 million Series A round raised last year. As part of the funding, Mike Krupka, managing director of Bain Capital Ventures, has joined the board.


Rent the Runway walks away with $60 mln Series D

Rent the Runway, which provides rentals of designer clothes, has raised $60 million in Series D funding. Technology Crossover Ventures led the round with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Highland Capital Partners and Condé Nast parent company Advance Publications. In addition to the financing, Daniel O’Keefe, a general partner at TCV, has been appointed to Rent the Runway’s board.


Dynamics closes $70 mln Series C funding round

Pittsburgh-based Dynamics Inc., which provides interactive payment cards and systems, has closed a $70 million Series C funding round. New investors MasterCard and CIBC were joined by existing backers Bain Capital Ventures and Adams Capital Management. The funding from MasterCard is part of a larger expanded business partnership between the two companies to provide consumers with choice, flexibility and security when using payment cards.


SendGrid racks up over $20 mln

Boulder-based email delivery platform SendGrid has received over $20 million in Series C funding. The investors were Bain Capital Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Foundry Group.

VC-backed Infusionsoft hires CFO

Infusionsoft, a sales and marketing software provider for small businesses, has named Curtis Smith as chief financial officer. In his new role, Smith will oversee corporate finance, accounting, legal, investor relations and report to the firm’s CEO and co-founder Clate Mask. Infusionsoft is backed by Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital Ventures, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Signal Peak Ventures.


Cloud security startup Evident.io raises $9.85 mln

Dublin, Calif.-based Evident.io, which provides security technology for Amazon Web Services, announced today that has raised $9.85 million in Series A funding led by Bain Capital Ventures. True Ventures also participated in the round. The company previously raised $1.5 million in seed-stage funding from True Ventures.


EverTrue scores $8 mln Series B

Boston-based EverTrue, a social donor management platform, has closed $8 million in Series B funding. Bain Capital Ventures led the round with participation from Silicon Valley Bank.


Bain Capital Ventures leads $55 mln growth round in Infusionsoft

Bain Capital Ventures has led a $55 million Series D growth funding in Infusionsoft,a sales and marketing software provider for small businesses. Prior investors Signal Peak Ventures, Goldman Sachs, Arthur Ventures and Allure Ventures participated in the funding round. Infusionsoft has raised a total of $125 million, including a $54 million Series C funding round led by Goldman in 2013.


Symphony raises $21.5 mln Series B

Symphony Commerce closed a $21.5 million Series B round of funding led by CRV, with participation from existing investors Bain Capital Ventures and FirstMark Capital. Headquartered in San Francisco, Symphony Commerce delivers commerce as a service to fast-growing brands.


Investor group provides $1.2 mln seed funding in Sgrouples

A group of seed investors has led a $1.2 million seed round in social networking service Sgrouples. The company has raised a total of $1.8 million in seed funding after collecting $600,000 in June, 2013. Investors in the funding round include Josh Friedman of Easton Capital, Jack Canfield, Marci Shimoff, Tom Myers, Mykola Latansky, Dan Phillips and Jack Sweeney, an operating partner with Bain Capital Ventures.
