Wrike pulls in $15 mln Series B

Mountain View, California-based work management platform Wrike has secured $15 million in Series B funding. The investors were Scale Venture Partners, DCM Ventures and return backer Bain Capital Ventures. In addition to the funding, Rory O’Driscoll of ScaleVP has been added to Wrike’s board of directors.

Bain Capital Ventures leads funding of networking company CloudGenix

CloudGenix, a provider of software-defined wide area network technology, announced it has raised a $25 million Series B round of funding. Bain Capital Ventures led the round, which included CRV and the Mayfield Fund. The Santa Clara, Calif.-based company has now raised $34 million in total funding. Enrique Salem, managing director at Bain Capital Ventures and former president and CEO of Symantec, has joined the board.

OpenFin snags $3 mln

New York and London-based OpenFin, a provider of HTML5 runtime technology for the financial sector, has secured $3 million in funding. Bain Capital Ventures, Pivot Investment Partners and Nyca Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Tom Glocer, former Thomson Reuters CEO. According to the company, the capital infusion will be used for product development and to expand its engineering team in both New York and London.

Bain Capital Ventures has led a $20 million Series B funding round in 6sense, a SaaS-based predictive intelligence platform for marketing and sales.  Previous investors Battery Ventures and Venrock also participated in the round. The deal is the first for Indy Guha since he was promoted to partner at Bain Capital Ventures last week. As part of the funding, he will join the board of 6sense. The funding brings the total financing to $36 million for the San Francisco-based company.

Bain Capital Ventures led the funding, which includes existing investors SoftBank Capital, Resolute Ventures, High Peaks Venture Partners, KEC Ventures, FinTech Collective and Solon Mack Capital, the family office of William Mack, Richard Mack and Stephen Mack. Reonomy, which provides a data platform covering commercial real estate, has now raised about $18 million in total funding, including a $3.7 million Series A round raised last year. As part of the funding, Mike Krupka, managing director of Bain Capital Ventures, has joined the board.

New investors MasterCard and CIBC were joined by existing backers Bain Capital Ventures and Adams Capital Management. The funding from MasterCard is part of a larger expanded business partnership between the two companies to provide consumers with choice, flexibility and security when using payment cards.

Infusionsoft is backed by Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital Ventures, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Signal Peak Ventures.
