Digital Lumens picks up $23 mln

Intelligent LED lighting company Digital Lumens has closed $23 million in funding. The investors were Nokia Growth Partners, Aster Capital, Goldman Sachs, Flybridge Capital Partners, Black Coral Capital and Stata Ventures. According to the firm, the capital will be used for product development as well as to scale operations and increase sales and marketing efforts.


Braemar Energy Ventures leads Series D round for Next Step Living

Next Step Living said Wednesday that it has raised $25 million in Series D funding. Braemar Energy Ventures led the round with participation from previous backers that included VantagePoint Capital Partners and Black Coral Capital. Headquartered in Boston, Next Step Living is a provider of home energy solutions in New England.

Digital Lumens Inks $10M Series B

Digital Lumens, a developer of LED-based lighting systems, has closed on $10 million in new funding from a Series B round and new line of credit. Black Coral Capital, Flybridge Capital Partners, and Stata Venture Partners contributed to the Series B round, bringing total raised by the company to $25 million. Silicon Valley Bank is providing the working capital line of credit.
