Bluecore attracts $6 mln Series A

Bluecore, formerly known as TriggerMail, has raised $6 million in Series A funding, the company confirmed in a blog post on its site. FirstMark Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Felicis Ventures, Founders Co-op and Bullet Time Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Amish Jani has been added to Bluecore’s board of directors. Based in New York City, Bluecore provides email marketing services for ecommerce firms. Brewbot pulls in $1.5 mln seed

According to a post on its site, Brewbot has raised $1.5 m million in seed funding. The round was led by Bebo founder and CEO Michael Birch led the round with participation from other investors that included Bullet Time Ventures, Hallett Capital and SparkLabs Global. Also, Sebastian Hassinger is joining the company as COO while Andrew Nordman has been added to its software engineering team. Bullet Time Ventures leads $2.2 mln seed round in GridCraft

Bullet Time Ventures has led a $2.2 million seed funding round in data analysis firm GridCraft. Other investors in the funding round include Cohort Capital, Confluence Capital Partners, Drummond Road Capital, Galvanize Ventures, Impact Angel Group, Startup Studio Ventures and angel investors. The company’s SaaS produce it in beta and will be available in the fall of 2014.

Distil Networks said Wednesday that it has closed $10 million in Series A funding. Foundry Group and Techstars’ Bullet Time Ventures led the round with participation from ff Venture Capital, IDEA Fund Partners and Militello Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Ryan McIntyre of Foundry Group and Bullet Time Ventures’ David Cohen have been named to Distil Networks’ board of directors. Based in Arlington, Virginia, Distil Networks is a provider of bot detection and mitigation solutions.

Bessemer Leads $21M for Boulder-based SendGrid

Bessemer Venture Partners led a $21 million Series B round for Boulder, Colo.-based SendGrid, which makes a cloud-based platform for email deliverability. Rockfish Brand Ventures Backs Tap.Me
