Cinematic VR company Jaunt racks up $65 mln Series C

Palo Alto, California-based cinematic virtual reality company Jaunt has raised $65 million in Series C funding. The Walt Disney Company, Evolution Media Partners, TPG GrowthParticipant Media and China Media Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included ProSiebenSat.1 SE, Axel Springer SE, The Madison Square Garden Company. Google Ventures, Highland Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Sky and SV Angel. Fenwick & West and The Raine Group advised Jaunt on the funding.
