Clearlake hikes cap on hot Fund IV

Clearlake Capital Group has bumped the hard cap on its fourth flagship vehicle to $1.36 billion amid heavy demand from limited partners, according to two people with knowledge of the firm.


PE-owned Sage Automotives buys Miko

Sage Automotive Interiors, which is owned by Clearlake Capital Group, has acquired Miko S.r.l., an Italy-based maker of suede-like automotive interior fabrics. No financial terms were disclosed.


Clearlake hires one and promotes four

Clearlake Capital Group has named Fred Ebrahemi as general counsel and chief compliance officer. The private equity firm has also promoted Prashant Mehrotra as partner, Colin Leonard and Arta Tabaee to principals and James Pade to vice president. Prior to joining Clearlake, Ebrahemi worked at Platinum Equity Advisors where he served as senior vice president and deputy general counsel.


Clearlake buys Sage

Clearlake Capital has acquired automotive textile supplier Sage. No financial terms were disclosed. Nomura Securities International and XMS Capital Partners advised Sage on the deal.

Clearlake-backed PrimeSport appoints new president

PrimeSport, which is backed by Clearlake, has named John Walker as president. Sam Soni will remain in his role as CEO. Previously, Walker worked at Tickets.com where he served as president and CEO. PrimeSport is a provider of direct access to top sporting events.


Prospect backs Clearlake Capital’s Tolt

Tolt, a portfolio company of Clearlake Capital, has received an undisclosed amount of debt financing from Prospect. Based in Taylors, SC, Tolt is a information technology services company focused on the retail market.

Clearlake acquires Tolt Service Group

Clearlake Capital has formed Tolt Solutions, an outsourced retail IT services and solutions provider. Tolt Solutions combines the business operations of Kyrus Solutions and Tolt Service Group, which together have more than 50 years of retail IT experience.
