VC-backed Ticketfly appoints new CFO and engineering VP

San Francisco-based ticketing platform Ticketfly has named Derek Yung as chief financial officer and Nate Underwood as vice president of engineering. Yung’s work background includes serving as CFO to several companies that include Nextag and Tria Beauty while Underwood worked at a number of firms that include Livefyre and Sony. Ticketfly’s backers include Sapphire Ventures, Riverwood Capital, Northgate Capital and Cross Creek Capital.


VC-backed TubeMogul sets pricing terms for IPO

According to an amended SEC filing, TubeMogul has priced its IPO of 6.25 million shares between $11 and $13 per share. Also, the company plans on listing the stock on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “TUBE.” BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, RBC Capital Markets, BMO Capital Markets and Oppenheimer & Co. will serve as lead underwriters. Based in Emeryville, Calif., TubeMogul is an online video marketing company. Its backers include SingTel Innov8, Cross Creek Capital, Digital Advertising Consortium, Foundation Capital and Trinity Ventures.

TubeMogul Secures $10M, Plans Asian to Singapore

Online video marketing company TubeMogul announced it has $10 million in a Series C tranche that was led by SingTel Innov8, the venture arm of SingTel Group. Cross Creek Capital joined the round and existing investors Digital Advertising Consortium, Foundation Capital and Trinity Ventures also participated. The Emeryville, Calif.-based company previously raised about $33 million in total funding, including a $20 million first tranche of the Series C in late 2012.


HubSpot Secures $35m Mezz Financing

Marketing software firm HubSpot has secured a $35 million mezzanine financing round from investors including Altimeter Capital, Cross Creek Capital, and previous investors.
