Automile nabs $5 mln Series A

Stockholm-based Automile, a platform that connects cars and their data to the cloud, has raised $5 million in Series A funding. Dawn Capital and Point Nine Capital led the round.


Sticky attracts $5 mln

Sticky, an eye-tracking analytics provider that helps publishers, advertisers and agencies, has secured $5 million in Series A funding. Dawn Capital led the round with participation from return backers Northzone and Conor.


Dawn Capital leads funding round for LeadDesk

Finland-based LeadDesk, a provider of outbound call center software, has secured 5.5 million euros in funding. Dawn Capital led the round with participation from Finnish Industry Investment. In conjunction with the funding, Teddie Wardi of Dawn Capital has been added to LeadDesk’s board of directors.


Neo Technology snags $20 mln Series C

San Mateo, California-based Neo Technology, a graph database creator, has received $20 million in Series C funding. The investors were Creandum, Dawn Capital, Fidelity Growth Partners Europe, Sunstone Capital and Conor Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Johan Brenner of Creandum has been added to Neo Technology’s board of directors.


Dawn Capital and MMC Ventures back Obillex

UK-based Obillex, an early payments finance tech firm, has received 3 million pounds in funding. Dawn Capital led the round with participation from MMC Ventures. In addition to the funding, Josh Bell, a partner at Dawn Capital, has been added to Obillex’s board of directors.


Showpad snags $8.5 mln Series B

Showpad has raised $8.5 million in Series B funding. Dawn Capital led the round with participation from return backer Hummingbird Ventures. Based in Ghent, Belgium, Showpad is a mobile sales acceleration platform.

Ad tech platform Magnetic buys VC-backed Cognitive Match

Magnetic, a digital ad tech platform, has acquired Cognitive Match. No financial terms were disclosed. Headquartered in New York, Cognitive Match is a provider of ad optimization solutions for advertisers, agencies and media sellers. Its backers included Meridian Venture Partners and Dawn Capital.

Zouk Capital leads Series C round for iZettle

European mobile payment services provider iZettle said Friday that it has raised $55.5 million in Series C funding. Zouk Capital led the round with participation from Dawn Capital, Intel Capital, Creandum, Greylock Partners, Index Ventures, Northzone and SEB Private Equity. In addition to the funding, Nathan Medlock of Zouk Capital will join the iZettle board.


EVRYTHNG raises $7 mln Series A

EVRYTHNG, a Web of Things software company has raised a $7 million Series A investment round. Atomico, BHLP LLC, Dawn Capital and Cisco have backed the business.

FTBpro racks up $18 mln

FTBpro has received $18 million in funding. The investors included Battery Ventures, Gemini Israel and Dawn Capital. Headquartered in London with offices in Tel Aviv, FTBpro is a fan-generated media platform in online football.

eCommera secures $41mln

Global software-as-a-service and big data company eCommera has secured a $41 million Series C funding round. Dawn Capital led the round with investors West Coast Capital, Frog Capital, ePlanet Capital, WPP and new partner Wti.

Zumper Raises $1M From Kleiner, Andreessen, Greylock, NEA, Others

Zumper said it raised $1 million in seed funding earlier this year from investors including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners, CrunchFund, New Enterprise Associates, Dawn Capital, the Experiment Fund and the DeWilde family trust. Zumper is using the money for expansion.

Bathrooms.com Raises $11.9M From Augmentum, Dawn

Bathrooms.com said it raised a Series B round of £7.5 million  ($11.9 million) in a deal led by Augmentum Capital and joined by existing investor Dawn Capital. Wonga Inks $117.9M In Funding

Wonga.com, a UK-based provider of short-term cash advances, has closed on 73 million pounds ($117.9 million) in new financing led by Oak Investment Partners. Meritech Capital Partners, Accel Partners, Balderton Capital, Dawn Capital, Greylock Partners and TAG also contributed to the round.
