PE-backed Blackrock PM appoints Trotter as chairman

Blackrock Programme Management, which is backed by Dunedin, has named Tim Trotter as chairman. Trotter is currently chairman of Glenfern and was the founder of Ludgate Group Limited. Based in the UK, Blackrock PM is a professional services firm that provides expert witness and construction consulting services for large, international construction projects.

DunedIn promotes Bevan to partner, adds two analysts

DunedIn has haired two analysts, Sophie Chambers and Katie Chung, who will both focus on identifying and assessing new investment opportunities. The U.K. mid-market private equity firm also said that it promoted Oliver Bevan to partner and Karan Darroch to finance and operations manager. Chambers was previously an associate at Ennismore Capital while Chung was at PwC where she was a senior associate in the corporate finance team.


Dunedin invests in Blackrock PM

Dunedin has acquired a “significant” minority stake in Blackrock Programme Management, a London-based provider of construction consulting services. No financial terms were disclosed.

Dunedin boosts team with new hires

UK mid-market private equity house Dunedin has appointed Lorna Eltringham as investor relations manager and Jessica Hardy has been appointed as an analyst. Dunedin’s David Williams will join Ross Marshall as a senior partner of the firm.

The Royal Bank of Scotland backs Dunedin’s EV

The Royal Bank of Scotland has completed a refinancing of EV Offshore Limited. UK-based EV manufactures high performance video cameras that are used to diagnose and analyse problems in oil and gas wells. The business is backed by Dunedin.

Dunedin in Kee Safety MBO

Dunedin has backed the management buyout of Kee Safety, a global supplier of safety solutions and products designed to protect people from hazards. Dunedin’s stake in the business was acquired from LDC.

Dunedin Backs Trustmarque Solutions

Dunedin has backed the management buyout of York headquartered Trustmarque Solutions, a provider of technology services and solutions to private and public sector organisations across the UK. The business was acquired from LDC.

Dunedin’s Hawksford Appoints New CEO

Hawksford, an independent trust company which is backed by UK mid-market private equity firm Dunedin, has appointed Maxine Rawlins, a partner at Ernst & Young, to the position of chief executive from 2014 when the incumbent chief executive, Peter Murley, retires. A partner at Ernst & Young in Jersey, Rawlins currently leads the Channel Islands Tax Practice and is Head of EMEIA Asset Management Tax.

Dunedin’s Hawksford Expands with Key Trust

Hawksford has acquired Key Trust Company. This is its fourth acquisition since it was backed by UK mid-market private equity house Dunedin in October 2008. This follows Hawksford’s recent expansion in Jersey, the Middle East and Switzerland and forms part of its wider growth strategy.

Dunedin Backs Premier Hytemp MBO

UK mid market buyout house Dunedin has backed the management buyout of Premier Hytemp, a manufacturer of engineered alloy components for the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry. The business was acquired from Murray International Holdings, in a 34.5 million pounds ($55.3 million) transaction.
