Extreme Venture Partners, BDC Capital invest in SensorSuite

SensorSuite Inc. said Monday that it closed a round of funding from Extreme Venture Partners, BDC Capital, and private angels. Financial terms weren’t announced. Mississauga, Ontario -based SensorSuite provides wireless monitoring and energy saving solutions for multi-residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Extreme Venture Partners leads $2 mln seed funding in Wagepoint

Extreme Venture Partners has led a $2 million seed funding round in Wagepoint, a human resources tech company specializing in online payroll. Business Development Bank of Canada, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agencies and U.S. and Canadian angel investors also participated in the funding.

CrowdCare raises another $3.5 mln

CrowdCare Corp. said Tuesday it has raised an additional $3.5 million led by Extreme Venture Partners. Mantella Ventures Partners, an existing investor, also participated. Toronto-based CrowdCare provides the Wysdom app which aims to help customers with information and resources to solve problems with their mobile phones.

Fixmo Closes $6.5M Series B

Fixmo Inc., a provider of secure, end-to-end infrastructure management technology for mobile devices, has raised $6.5 million in Series B financing. Panorama Capital, a new investor in the company, led the round. Existing investors Rho Ventures Canada, iNovia Capital, Extreme Venture Partners also participated. Fixmo is based in Toronto.

Chango Closes on $4.25M Series B

Toronto-based search marketing startup Chango has raised $4.25 million in Series B financing. Rho Canada, a division of NY-based Rho Capital Partners, led the round, which included participation from iNovia Capital, Metamorphic Ventures, Extreme Venture Partners and 24/7 Media co-founder Geoff Judge. As a result of the funding, Rho Canada’s Roger Chabra will join the Chango board.
