Palo Alto, California-based Instart Logic, a cloud application delivery provider, has raised $45 million in Series D funding. Geodesic Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included the Stanford-StartX Fund, Harris Barton Asset Management, Hermes Growth Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Four Rivers Group, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Tenaya Capital.

Numerify racks up $37.5 mln Series C

Cupertino, California-based cloud-based analytics company Numerify has secured $37.5 million in Series C funding. Tenaya Capital led the round with participation from return backers Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Silicon Valley Bank and Four Rivers Group. In addition to the funding, Tom Banahan, managing director of Tenaya Capital, has been added to Numerify’s board of directors.

Instart Logic snags $43 mln

Palo Alto, California-based cloud application delivery provider Instart Logic has secured $43 million in funding. Four Rivers Group and Hermes Growth Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and Tenaya Capital. Also, Instart Logic has named Rafael Torres as chief financial officer, Shailesh Shukla as vice president of products and strategy and Justin Fitzhugh as vice president of technical operations.

D2L raises $85 mln in Series B funding from VC group

Educational technology company D2L Inc. has closed an $85 million Series B funding round led by a large institutional investor. Other investors participating in the funding round include Columbus Nova Technology Partners, Graham Holdings, Four Rivers Group, Aurion Capital and existing investors New Enterprise Associates and OMERS Ventures. Silicon Valley Bank provided debt financing. D2L has raised a total of $165 million.

Vidyo said Friday that it has raised $20 million in funding. The investors included Menlo Ventures, Rho Ventures, Sevin Rosen Funds, QuestMark Partners, Saints Capital, Four Rivers Group, ORR Ventures, Triangle Peak Partners and Juniper Networks through its Junos Innovation Fund. Based in Hackensack, NJ, Vidyo is a provider of video conferencing solutions.
