IFC and Westly Group lead $21 mln round for Ioxus

Ioxus said Monday that it has raised $21 million in funding. IFC and the Westly Group led the round. Based in Oneonta, NY, Ioxus is a maker of ultracapacitor technology for the transportation, alternative energy, medical, industrial and consumer product industries.

IFC Invests $50 Million in Credit Suisse Mexico Credit Opportunities Trust

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has invested $50 million in the Credit Suisse Mexico Credit Opportunities Trust, a fund that helps boost financing for local companies and deepen capital markets in Mexico. Credit Suisse, through its asset management business, several Mexican pension funds, and other investors, have collectively invested almost $500 million in the trust, bringing the total capital committed to approximately $550 million.

Delta Partners Capital Holds $100 Million First Close on Emerging Markets Fund

Delta Partners Capital, an advisory and investment firm based in Dubai, has held a first, $100 million, close of its Delta Partners Emerging Markets TMT Growth Fund II. Investors include the IFC (World Bank Group), NTT DOCOMO, and a number of family offices from Europe and the Middle East. The fund has a target of $350 million and a hard cap of $500 million.


GRUPO SURA Acquires ING Lat Am Assets

Latin American pension fund provider GRUPO SURA has completed the acquisition of ING Group´s assets in Latin America, as initially announced on July 25 of this year.
