Plastic Components, which is backed by MPE Partners, has acquired Syracuse Plastics of North Carolina, a maker of engineered and high precision injection molded components for applications in the industrial, water and pool products, telecommunications, power products, food processing and other end markets. No financial terms were disclosed.

Instar Group said March 5 that it agreed to buy 2,146 railcars from CAI International. Financial terms weren’t announced. Instar Group is a portfolio company of Sightway Capital.

Cerberus has closed its previously announced take-private acquisition of Schaumburg, Illinois-based Sparton, a provider of electromechanical devices, for $18.50 per share. As a result of the deal, Sparton will be stop trading on the New York Stock Exchange prior to the opening of the trading session on March 5, 2019.

GHK Capital Partners has recapitalized Brown & Settle, a provider of large-parcel site development services in the Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Greater Washington D.C. area. No financial terms were disclosed.

Altus Capital Partners has acquired Nashville-based Thermal Solutions Manufacturing Inc, a provider of heat exchange and thermal management products. The seller was Resilience Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed.

Sage Metals Private Limited, a portfolio company of Delos Capital, has acquired Grand Prairie, Texas-based Jayco Manufacturing LLC, a provider of precision custom metal formed components for a variety of manufacturers primarily based in North America operating in industrial and consumer end markets. No financial terms were disclosed.

Windjammer Capital Investors has acquired Hermetic Solutions Group, a provider of advanced hermetic packaging and components. No financial terms were disclosed.

Kruger Plastics Products, a portfolio company of HC Private Investments, has acquired Northern California Injection Molding and El Dorado Molds, a maker of high-quality custom injection molding tooling and parts. No financial terms were disclosed. Oak Hill Securities Inc was financial adviser to NCIM on the deal.

Cairngorm Capital has acquired UK-based Sentry Doors, a maker of timber fire and security doors. No financial terms were disclosed.

Hamilton Robinson Capital Partners has recapitalized Union Grove, Wisconsin-based American Roller Company, a provider of engineered services and industrial rollers. No financial terms were disclosed.
