NEA backs cyber security company illusive networks

Tel Aviv-based illusive networks, a cyber security company focused on targeted attacks, announced it has raised a $22 million Series B round of funding led by new investor New Enterprise Associates. Also participating in the round are new and existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Marker LLC, Citi Ventures and Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors. The company earlier this year raised $5 million in a Series A round. Kittu Kolluri, general partner at NEA, has joined the board as part of the latest funding.

Prosper Marketplace buys VC-backed BillGuard

According to a blog post on its site, Prosper Marketplace has acquired Israel-based personal finance company BillGuard. No financial terms were disclosed. BillGuard’s backers included Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund, Innovation Endeavors, Bessemer Venture Partners and IA Ventures.
