Canada-based Vidyard, a video platform that helps businesses, has raised $35 million in Series C funding. Battery Ventures led the round with participation from return backers Bessemer Venture Partners, Salesforce Ventures, OMERS Ventures, iNovia Capital and SoftTech VC. In conjunction with the funding, Michael Brown, a general partner at Battery Ventures, has been added to Vidyard’s board of directors.

New York City-based WorkFusion, a smart process automation solution provider, has secured $14 million in Series C funding. Nokia Growth Partners led the round with participation from Mohr Davidow Ventures, Greycroft Partners, iNovia Capital and RTP Ventures. In addition to the funding, Paul Asel, a managing partner at NGP, has been added to WorkFusion’s board of directors.

San Francisco-based AppDirect, a provide of cloud services to power ecommerce, announced it has raised $140 million in funding led by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Also participating in the round are Foundry Group, iNovia Capital, Mithril Capital Management, StarVest Partners and Stingray Digital. Since the company was founded in 2009, it has now raised $245 million in total funding, including an $8.5 million Series A round in 2012.
