Leeds Equity-backed iModules Software buys OrgSync

iModules Software, a portfolio company of Leeds Equity Partners LLC, has acquired OrgSync. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Dallas, OrgSync is a provider of student community management solutions for higher education.


Leeds Equity to sell SeatonCorp to TrueBlue for $310 mln

Leeds Equity Partners is selling recruiting and outsourcing provider SeatonCorp to TrueBlue for $310 million. TrueBlue, a staffing provider, will make the acquisition with a combination of cash on hand and a credit facility. The deal is expected to close early in the third quarter. Robert W. Baird worked as financial advisor to TrueBlue on the deal.


Leeds Equity Partners Acquires INTO University Partnerships Stake

New York-based private equity fund Leeds Equity Partners has signed and closed a 66 million pounds ($105.8 million) investment in INTO University Partnerships Limited in return for a 25 percent equity stake. Founded in 2005 by Andrew Colin and based in Brighton, United Kingdom, INTO partners with premier universities around the world to increase student capacity, drive additional revenue and support greater international student mobility. Since 2005, INTO has developed 16 university partnerships in the United Kingdom, United States and Asia.

Leeds Equity Partners to Sell Ex Libris to Golden Gate Capital

Leeds Equity Partners is to sell Ex Libris™ Global Holdings to Golden Gate Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity investment firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ex Libris is the leading provider of cloud-based and on-premise content and knowledge management software solutions for academic and research institutions.

Leeds Equity Inks $94 Mln Buy of Evanta, SLI

Leeds Equity Partners has agreed to buy Evanta Ventures and Sports Leadership Institute for $94 million. The seller is dmg events, a unit of the Daily Mail and General Trust. Portland-based Evanta is a conference organizer, while SLI provides leadership forums for professional and collegiate sports team executives. The Jordan, Edmiston Group advised Evanta.

Renovus Capital Debut Fund Comes in at $100 Mln

Renovus Capital Partners has raised $100 million for its debut fund. Philadelphia-based Renovus is an education focused PE firm. Renovus was founded in January 2010 by Bradley Whitman, Atif Gilani and Jesse Serventi who had each worked at Leeds Equity Partners.
